The Pub Kings are sponsored in part by Milford Nissan & Edward Memorial Funeral Home.
Family Night at the Bandstand continues to be one of the LARGEST ongoing, weekly gathering of our community at any one time of the year, at any event.
We are pleased to announce that MyFM Media has agreed to continue their “Overall Media Sponsorship” of Family Night at the Bandstand 2024 – AND in addition – Milford TV will be recording and/or broadcasting live from the park each night this summer!
Claflin Hill’s “Family Night at the Bandstand” is unique amongst all other summer concert series which take place in so many other towns in our region. Unlike those other concert series, Family Night at the Bandstand is produced by Claflin Hill, which is our region’s resident, professional non-profit organization, and we bring all of our professional, high level concert production assets to bear in the producing of Family Night.
We have engaged the very finest and most popular ensembles to entertain our audience. The lineup includes our own Claflin Hill Symphony Summer Winds – the resident ensemble of Family Night at the Bandstand. This season will also see the return of “Zach Innis and the Honeybees” performing their Tom Petty tribute show; “Brass Attack” with their stellar mix of “Chicago” and “Tower of Power” horn bands; The Fantasy Big Band; and MY-FM’s Ray Auger and “The Pub Kings” and a first time appearance this season by the popular high-powered fusion jazz ensemble, “Little Mahrud.’
Unlike summer concert series in other towns – Each and Every band and musician who perform on our bandstand throughout the summer have a direct and local connection to our community. They ARE the musicians of our community – not only do they create culture for us all year long, but they live amongst us day to day, shop in our stores, teach our children, and contribute to our local economy.
At Claflin Hill, we have created a “cultural-economic” movement that enhances the quality of life for all residents of the region and maintains a connection to the traditions and values of our past heritage which has made Claflin Hill possible to grow and thrive in.
