Claflin Hill’s Evening at the Symphony

Symphony concerts take place in the Grand Ballroom or the Milford Town Hall. This historic building offers wonderful acoustics. Please keep in mind that older building have their quirks and personalities and our beloved concert hall is no different. Balcony seats are wooden and our floor seats are not fixed seats offering the opportunity for many configurations.

Directions to Milford Town Hall @ 52 Main Street

From the South: Take Interstate 495 North to Exit 48 (Milford Medway 109 to 16). At end of ramp, take a left onto Route 109. Follow 109 until it intersects Route 16. Take a left onto route 16 and follow it into Milford. Watch for Milford Town Hall on the left.

From the North: Take Interstate 495 South to Exit 50 (Route 85 to Route16). Follow Route 85 south until it intersects Route 16. Take a right onto Rte16 and follow it into Milford. Watch for Milford Town Hall on your left.

From the East:  Follow Route 109 west into Milford until it intersects Route 16. Take a left onto Route 16 and follow it into Milford. Watch for Milford Town Hall on the left.

From the West: follow Route 16 east into the center of Milford.  Continue on Route 16 and just past the Milford Fire Department watch for the Milford Town Hall on your right.

Parking: 

 All parking is free and is either in Municipal parking lots or on street parking —all just a few minutes walk to the Town Hall.

 PARKING LOTS

LOT 1:  The Municipal lot at the corners of Main Street, East Main Street And Beach Street

              (Use 10 East Main street for GPS). (The Preferred lot)

LOT 2:  The Milford Senior Center Parking Lot at 60 North Bow Street

LOT 3:  The Municipal lot at 13 Jefferson Street.

LOT 4:  The Municipal lot at 25 Pearl Street (Converted basketball courts) behind Richmond food shop,

LOT 5:  The Milford Library at 80 Spruce Street

LOT 6:  The Town Hall-  Very limited space Includes Handicapped parking. Please let allow patrons who have accessibility challenges use these spaces.

How do I enter the hall?

Doors open at 6:45 p.m. on the night of each concert

Please use the MAIN STREET ENTRANCE If you have tickets in hand, print at home tickets or tickets on your mobile phone:

Please beware that the stairs up to hall are quite steep if needed you can follow the directions to the Court Street entrance for easier access.

Please use the COURT STREET ENTRANCE If you need to purchase tickets, pick up will call or need to use the elevator:

Elevator:  Please use the Court Street entrance located on the right side of the Town Hall.  Take the ramp to the right of the stairs to the first floor )”Lower Town Square”) once inside turn to the right;  the Elevator will be right in front of you.

Take Elevator to the second floor.

Box Office:- Purchase tickets ~ Will call  (Opens at 6:30 PM)

Please use the Court Street entrance located on the right side of the Town Hall.  Proceed up the stone stairs to “Upper Town Square”. The Box Office is located to your left.  Once you have your tickets you can then take either the elevator or the stairs to the second floor.

Rest Rooms:

Located on the first floor (Upper Town Square).  During the concert you must exit to the outside via the Main Street exit and proceed to the Court Street entrance.  You will no problems being readmitted to the Hall.

Late Comers:   Any arrivals after 7:30 are required to enter the Hall via the Main Street Entrance.  Please note you will be seated between Pieces.

Concessions:  The Claflin Hill Café serves coffee/tea/soda  and freshly baked goods for your enjoyment.  All items are $2.  Concessions are available prior to the concert and during intermission.
