Since our Legacy 25 Campaign was unveiled on Sunday morning, we have been receiving an ongoing stream of messages of support and concern throughout each day.

Our initial Challenge Gift of $10,000, gifted by Maxine and Nate, was MATCHED by 8 PM on Sunday evening!!

One of the new gifts – from David & Sylvia Price – was an additional “kick the challenge up the road” gift – promising to match all gifts up to $5,000 by the end of this week!

The successful matching of both gifts will put us at the Halfway Mark of our Legacy 25 goal of $50,000 in new and one-time special gifts!

I know there are many more friends of CHSO who will be stepping forward this week to take part in this victory – friends who can join Maxine, Nate, David and Sylvia at those levels, and even more friends who can do what they can do – this will take an effort of an entire unified community that just wants to make their part of the world as beautiful as it can be!

Our Sunday match of $10,000 was effected by 12 people!  Imagine what we’ll see when everyone that values everything that Claflin Hill has brought to their community for 25 years joins the movement!

Reaching our goal means that CHSO will complete its Silver Anniversary Season in the BLACK, and on a stable footing to begin Family Night at the Bandstand 2025 – our THIRTIETH SEASON – the BEGINNING OF IT ALL!

It means that the Claflin Hill Symphony Summer Winds will visit numerous communities in our region throughout the summer with world-class, free park concerts.   It means building new partnerships and venues – some projects already underway include an outdoor Symphony Pops concert at Southwick Zoo, music brunches at Galliford’s Restaurant, and several growing discussions in Southborough and Holliston!

It means that your CHSO will be there to help celebrate the 250th Birthday of the United States with a return to our once cherished Independence Day Concert with the Fireworks in Milford – made possible by a yet unknown but far-seeing and community invested corporate Business Partner!!!!  Who could that be???

Imagine the celebration we will have on April 26th when the CHSO convenes for the Silver Anniversary Finale with the New World Chorale!

There are so many ways to help and to exponentially enlarge your gift!   Rally your friends to join you in the cause.   For those who might want to create their own GoFundMe Campaign to help THEIR Orchestra, Bernadette can provide all the “collateral materials and mission and vision statements and even photos and links to live recordings!

Introduce the Wonder that is Claflin Hill to a larger community and help finish the task to insure its future for generations to come.

My Friends, to the Battlements!   On to Victory!  Together, we can do this.
